Acantilados Golf Club is ready to celebrate its first 100 years. .Pedro Churio a golf professional very well known leaded a team who devoted to design and build the first 9 holes, nowadays know as the yellow court inaugurated at the beginning of the year 1956. The team continued in the design and building of two other courts that were finished by Agusttin Posse. Besides the building of the courts the parking works planted 10.000 trees
The golf course was designed by the Ronald Fream Design Group Ltd. From Santa Rosa California USA .and performed in its first stage by the Eng. Luis Teran Etchecopar and ended Mr.Roberto Hume, a very well known golf player in Mar del Plata . It has 9 holes, with 18 exits, 18 fla gs and 12 greens. It has capacity for 60 players. The greens were built under USGA norms, very well protected by very nice designed bunkers
Sierra de los Padres Golf Club is in the outskirts of Mar del Plata. Its first golf professional was Roberto De Vicenio. Its golf course is at the bottom of the hills. It has 18 holes and its run is of 5915 meters and a 74 pair for ladies and 71 form men. The course has a wonderful view thanks to the characteristic vegetation of the place and the fauna settled in the area.
