Lakes District Chile: Lakes, Rivers and Volcanoes

The lakes of Chile are perhaps one of the prodigies of the nature. This is a volcano region with snow-covered summits reflected in the green-blue magical color of its lakes and rivers next to a vegetation of native forests in the middle of active cities and friendly towns. When the Winter whitens mountains and volcanoes, the South of Chile Welcomes the skiers in a scene of beautiful slopes in the middle of nature where comfortable winter centers stand. The crystalline waters of the rivers and lakes offer excellent conditions for the fishing of the rainbow trout, fario and salmons.

Climate:• Fall (March - May 15Cº) • Winter (Jun - Aug 12Cº)  • Spring (Sep - Nov 13Cº)  • Summer (Dec - Feb 26Cº). During winter, strong rains are registered with a monthly average of 190 mm and the temperatures lowers to 5Cº.
